There is nothing more delightining than these summer mornings: to wake up at 6:30 AM for an early morning run followed by yoga, to drink coffee and mate with oatmeal and baked apples, to write in this diary and check the email. And it doesn't really matter that the run was only ten minutes long due to the two hour work out yesterday night or that the yoga video was messed up. Nothing matters because it is summer, and the living is easy. There is countless time to read, read, and read some more. I was finally able to check out French Woman Don't Get Fat. The timing was perfect, too, because I feel like I am gaining weight. It must be the eating lunch at Maggiano's twice a week - today I must pick a salad. But their salads are tossed with all kinds of cheeses and meats!! Yet, it is better than a sandwich. I am glad that they have fresh fruit as a dessert option because there is something very soothing about fruit, even there is never any in the house because it all gets eaten the day that it is bought!
I must rush to the doctor's office and get ready for a full day of (non-paid) work. Oh, the crazy things I do for the sake of the college application! Last time I was at work I had this urgent desire to come back home and sleep, read, or write. But it is better than school, I suppose. After all, I try so hard during the school year that I must keep up my stuff during summer, too.
